Help Build Schools | Help Build Masjids | Help Build Future Generations of Ummah

The purpose of ALA School Foundation is to be a Charitable Educational Organization. Among other charitable educational activities, the foundation will work to raise funds to support “ALA Scholars Program” at American Leadership Academy school, which assists deserving K-12 students to attend Islamic School who do not have necessary resources to meet their educational goals. This has been made possible through ALA School Foundation Zakat Fund, established to gather Zakat funds to then give Qardh al-Hasan (Arabic: قرض الحسن, translation: benevolent lending) to qualified students who can pledge to return it in their lifetime, or it will be considered as zakat paid.

We are building new Islamic Schools (K-12 grades), and Islamic Centers (Masjids) in various cities to serve the growing Muslim population.

ALA School Foundation is a non-profit tax-exempt organization (with Tax-ID: 92-0882879) and registered with the IRS under revenue code 501(c)(3). All staff works on volunteer basis, and do not take any salary from ALA School Foundation.

What We Do

ALA School Foundation has been established to be a Charitable Educational Organization. Among other charitable educational activities, the foundation works to raise funds to support “ALA Scholars Program” at American Leadership Academy school, which assists deserving K-12 students who do not have necessary resources to meet their educational goals.
We are also building new Islamic Schools (K-12 grades), and Islamic Centers (Masjids) in various cities with growing Muslim population.

Our Story

Since ALA Online private school caters to students across the United States and International students across the globe, we saw the need to offer tuition assistance to qualified students. Thus, ALA School Foundation was established to raise funds for tuition assistance to ALA Islamic School students. We are also building new Islamic Schools (K-12 grades), and Islamic Centers (Masjids) in various cities with growing Muslim population.

In 2024, through advice of one of our donors, Br. Mohammed Iqbal Jetpuri, we have established ALA School Foundation Zakat Fund which then gives Qardh al-Hasan (Arabic: قرض الحسن, translation: benevolent lending) to qualified students in the United States and International Students to attend ALA Islamic Schools. The loan will be given first to the families who could be running short to pay the tuition at ALA Islamic School, due to loss of job, sickness, death of  sole income earner parent, or low income not enabling them to pay full tuition. They will pledge to promise to pay back the loan in their lifetime when they are able to pay it back, and if they are not able to pay it back in their lifetime then accept the loan as Zakat received.

Br. Mohammed Jetpuri is also the first donor to the ALA School Foundation Zakat Fund. May Allah bless him and and his family and reward him for all his efforts to help establish the Zakat Fund.

Helping Students All Over the World

Charity begins at home. ALA Foundation provides financial aid to students in the United States first. But we also live in a connected world. All children are our children. Thus, ALA Foundation offers Qardh al-Hasan (Arabic: قرض الحسن, translation: benevolent lending) to qualified students globally who attend or want to attend ALA Online School to obtain an American High School Diploma.
